Most of our fence staining calls in Sturtevant come from homes with a compact village of post-war and newer homes. In practice that means treated-pine decks due for a first seal.
Much of Sturtevant is in Racine County, Wisconsin, where mature trees are the main issue: shade keeps wood damp and grows mildew on the north side. Cleaning is not optional here, and we brighten after so the tone comes back.
We stain fences of every length, from a 60-foot side yard to a 400-foot perimeter. Fences are sprayed for coverage and back-brushed for penetration, one side at a time, with the neighbor's side handled by agreement. Overspray protection for grass, beds, siding and vehicles is part of the job.

Once the mill glaze is washed off and the wood is dry, usually two to eight weeks after installation. Pressure-treated fences need longer, often three to six months, until water soaks in rather than beading.
We can. Many homeowners do their side only, or split the cost with a neighbor. Both sides gives the longest life because it seals the wood all the way around.
Two to four weeks in spring and early fall, which are the busiest windows. Midsummer usually has more availability. Text photos and your town and we will give you a date with the quote.
