Lake County Fence & Deck Restoration is a Libertyville-based crew that does one thing: exterior wood. Decks, fences, pergolas, gazebos and docks, cleaned, repaired, sealed and stained properly. We do not paint houses or install fences. We make the wood you already have look good and last longer.
We started because the staining work we saw around Lake County was mostly bad. Decks sprayed the same afternoon they were washed. Fences blasted with high pressure and stained over the fuzz. Pergolas stained from the ground with the tops of the rafters left bare. Every one of those looks fine for a summer and fails the next spring, and the homeowner concludes that stain just does not last in Illinois. It does, when the prep is right.
Our process is simple and we do not skip steps: clean with the right chemical, rinse at low pressure, brighten, let it dry until the meter says so, sand what needs sanding, then stain with a penetrating product that soaks in instead of sitting on top. It takes an extra visit. It is why our work lasts.
